EDWARDSVILLE, IL (February 24, 2021) The St Louis Blues, through their partnership with Maryville University’s Rawlings sports business management program, have tapped Ultimate Gaming Championship (UGC) as the technology provider for competitions under Blues Gaming.
Blues Gaming is a division of the St Louis Blues dedicated to creating engagement opportunities within the esports community. Both competitions are free to enter with exclusive signed merchandise from the St. Louis Blues available as prizes.
“UGC is excited to partner with such a great brand like the Blues. Since we are located in their back yard it is easy to see how great of job they do at building a sense of community and loyalty within fans.” says UGC CEO and founder Matt Jackson, “Merging that with the passion of NHL 2021 players and esports fans makes for an incredible opportunity to serve a fresh new demographic on our technology platform.”
